Food Sorting Volunteer Shift with Connecticut Foodshare

Join us on Saturday May 11th from 9:00 - 12:00 for a shift at the Connecticut Foodshare warehouse. We will be sorting, inspecting and organizing food to be distributed. Please read the instructions and information below carefully. This DIAD will support our JLGNH mission to eradicate food insecurity and provide healthy, fresh, and accessible food to our community.

There are currently 5 spaces available - more can be opened up as we track registration numbers.

Volunteers will inspect and sort food items. Volunteers should be able to work on their feet and lift boxes weighing 30 lbs. Gloves will be provided. CLOSED TOE SHOES ARE MANDATORY. Every volunteer must wear sturdy, comfortable closed-toe shoes. Gloves will be provided.

Registration will require 2 steps.
