A message from our President, Amber Anthony

Dear Members of the Junior League of Greater New Haven,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. As we stand on the threshold of a new year, I am thrilled to extend my warmest congratulations to each and every one of you as we celebrate the monumental occasion of our 100-year anniversary. It is truly an honor to be a part of an organization that has dedicated a century to empowering women and creating lasting positive change within our community.

Our journey began with the unwavering dedication of twelve extraordinary women who founded the Junior League of Greater New Haven a century ago. Their vision, commitment, and pioneering spirit laid the foundation for the impactful work we continue to do today. As we reflect on our history, let us pay tribute to these trailblazers whose passion and dedication have shaped our League into what it is today.

As we step into this new year, we are not only commemorating our rich history but also embracing the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. The Junior League has always been at the forefront of driving meaningful change, and this year will be no exception. Our commitment to community impact remains stronger than ever, and it is my firm belief that together we can achieve extraordinary things.

I am thrilled to announce that our year of community impact will kick off with the observance of the international "Find the Good Day" on September 14. This day serves as a reminder of the power of positivity and the incredible impact that even small acts of kindness and compassion can have on our world. Let us use this occasion to come together as a League and spread goodness throughout our community.

Throughout this year, we will embark on a series of initiatives, projects, and events that will not only honor our legacy but also demonstrate our ongoing commitment to creating positive change. From advocating for important causes to rolling up our sleeves and getting involved directly, every action we take will contribute to the betterment of our community.

In closing, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your dedication, passion, and unwavering support. It is each one of you who breathes life into our mission and makes the Junior League of Greater New Haven the force for good that it is. Here's to a year filled with impactful endeavors, meaningful connections, and boundless achievements.

With enthusiasm and gratitude,

Amber Anthony, President Junior League of Greater New Haven
