The Junior League of Greater New Haven, Inc. is a not-for-profit women's organization that provides leadership, volunteer training, and service opportunities to its members. Through its activities, League members demonstrate their committment to and involvement in the city of New Haven and its surrounding communities.

The purpose of the Junior League is to provide volunteer training to its members through workshops, seminars, and hands-on experience in the development and implementation of the League's many projects. Women in the League learn skills such as grant writing, accounting, public relations, event organization, coalition building and public advocacy. In turn, League members contribute these skills to other community organizations.
