| Leaguers support Library Day! |
|
On Saturday, November 6, 2010, eleven JLGNH volunteers helped the library media specialist at Clarence Rogers Elementary School transform the library into an inviting and accessible place for students to check out reading materials and get excited about books! With a theme of "Reading Around the World," the walls were transformed with an ocean border connecting to various maps of the continents. Using materials and supplies donated by the JLGNH, volunteers helped to catalogue, process, and organize books, which provides a greater selection for students to choose from. We look forward to having another "Library Day" in January to help support the library at Clarence Rogers' sister school, Kathernine Brennan.
