| Junior Leaguers Volunteer at the Community Dining Room |

On Saturday, October 9, six JLGNH volunteers prepared and served lunch to 54 diners at the Branford Community Dining Room. The menu: salad and bread, chili, and banana crisp. Diners enjoyed the meal, some taking time afterward to shop for clothes, house wares, and books in the CDR’s public closet. The Hunger Awareness committee is planning another meal service project at the CDR in the Spring, so stay tuned for more information.
