| Welcome to the Junior League of Greater New Haven |
President's Message
During our 88-year history the League has provided thousands of dollars and volunteer hours to support our community. This year, our League’s focus on the issues of children and families in need has generated collaborations with the Connecticut Food Bank, New Haven Home Recovery, the New Haven Public Schools, and All Our Kin. Through these partnerships, our League has provided more than 1,300 hours of volunteer service, has donated more than 1,000 books to the New Haven Public Schools, and has helped to bring awareness to and alleviate such community issues as childhood obesity, domestic violence, and illiteracy. Through the combined efforts and generous support of our volunteers, partner agencies, and donors, we are able to apply creative solutions to current and future challenges and to strengthen our community. Please explore our website to learn more about the Junior League of Greater New Haven and how you can partner with us to improve our community. Thank you for your interest in the League. We hope to see you soon! Best wishes, Julia Chaffe |
